Yesterday, Jumbo took us to a "Western" restaurant so that we could have a small taste of home. Many of us ate things like Hawaiian pizza, steak, spaghetti, fries, and smoothies but not Andrew. He decided to continue with his adventurous eating and try Japanese octopus.
Andrew is REALLY loving the food here because there are many things that you can't get at home (or you can get them but they aren't as good). One of the wonderful things about Doumen is that we are close to the sea and so seafood is a staple food around here. Everything is purchased while it's still alive so it's super fresh and very delicious!
Here is a picture (sorry it's kind of blurry) of all the way down our long table. You can see lots of empty plates and happy faces! It's always a fun time when the whole team is able to go out to eat together!
